Peak Wireless Radio is more than just The Peak Districts local radio Station serving Derbyshire’s National Park and beyond.
It’s where dreams are made, where opportunities wait for those who have the desire to achieve, both young and slightly more mature. It’s a place of support to those who need a friend, it’s where we make things happen in order to support our local charities. It’s a cosy corner for those who want to feel and know that they’re appreciated and loved.
We don’t do stars at PWR , nobody starring on the next programme schedule. In fact it’s you, our public, our audience who are the stars, where and more importantly how we can support you, simply let us know at info@peakwirelessradio.com
Aspiring broadcasters and performance artists, an example of PWR in action. Lori Jones- Pullin 19, was busking outside the Buxton Opera House when we first met , earlier in 2021 , we introduced SOBER35 independent record label , and prior to it’s recent release “Lover’s Lane” was featured exclusively on PWR, playing hourly every day.
PWR have offered Derbyshire based colleges of Further Education the opportunity of partnering together, in promoting Media students giving first hand broadcasting experience.
This is a brief resumé , of what we have set out to achieve , whether it’s a busker on the street corner , the 24 hour friend or supporting and sponsoring Blythe House Hospice care and Helens Trust , it’s what makes Peak Wireless Radio , REAL – LOCAL – RADIO .
